Human Resources Manager

location: San Francisco

Global Law firm

  • Establish and implement HR processes in the firm’s San Francisco office consistent with firm practices and California law. Direct these processes at the local level: recruiting/hiring orientation/ training, compensation structure, benefits administration, staff evaluation process, time and attendance, leaves of absence, progressive discipline, terminations.
  • Manage and supervise support staff and workflow in the San Francisco office, ensuring fair and equal distribution of assignments to maintain a productive, collegial working dynamic among attorneys and staff.
  • Develop streamlined processes for attorney recruiting and integration at the local level (lateral hiring, on campus interviewing/callbacks, Summer Program, orientations, training/CLE), successfully staffing San Francisco practice areas with talented, driven professionals, and consistently furnishing these attorneys with reliable resources and competent, timely support.
  • Perform as primary office administrator to ensure office operations and services are exceptionally and efficiently executed.

We are seeking someone with a 4 year degree, a min of 10 years experience and ideally, the sphr designation.
